Thank you all for a wonderful tournament. It was great to have such a group of nice and fun players to share the tennis courts with on a beautiful Saturday morning. We had some really competitive matches too. The final match of mixed 7.0 was decided by a tie break in the second set. And while the mixed 7.5 final was a nail biter with the winning team clinching a third set tie break at 12-10, the mixed 6.0 final was won in no less dramatic fashion with a super tie break score of 10-8.

Congrats to the winners: Sameer and Lara (7.5 mixed), Frank and Joel (Mens 7.0), Ray and Wendy (7.0 mixed), and Lloyd and Natalie (6.0 mixed). Each winning player won a gift card of $15 from Swetka. (Lloyd and Natalie, I did not get a chance to give you your card. Please email me your address and I'll send them to you.)

I also want to take the opportunity to recognize some of our first time players: Joel, Lonnie, Aleta, Emily, Wendy, Namhee and Lara. I look forward to seeing you again in our next tournament.

Welcome back, Tom. It was great to reconnect with a long-time club member.

Jill, thanks as always for putting together a nice breakfast and lunch for us. You are a food magician.

And many thanks for those who helped with setting up and cleaning up.
