We had nice turnout for our July Mixed Doubles tournament. Tournament Director Jeremy Chen did a great job as usual in making the draws fair and competitive. We had 6 teams in Division I (7.5 and above), 6 teams in Division 2 (7.0) and 4 teams in Division 3 (6.0 and under). The results:

Division I: Jennifer Adams/Brook Lee (winners) vs Kathy Nichols/Michael Alvarez 3-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-2)

Division II: Sara Pawloski/Dana Glusovich (winners) vs Rie Collett/Perry Lim 7-5, 6-1

Division III: Steve Boljonis/Sara Martin (winners) vs Lloyd Oki/Emily Gupta 6-3,3-6, 1-0 (10-8)

We had great food provided by our food director Jill Nagahara-Evans. We want to give special thanks to Nora Hayward for once again generously donating cool designer sunglasses to the winners. The weather was nice and warm for some fun tennis.

Next month, August 20, will be the return of our Singles Tournament.
