It was a beautiful spring day for our Team Tennis tournament. A good turnout of 46 players made it possible to have a fun and competitive session between four teams – the Eagles, Falcons, Hawks and Kites. The format was six rounds of doubles, with four teams of four pairs playing a 8 game pro-set for each round. For the first time in MVTC Team Tennis history, we had a tie between two teams – the Hawks led by Perry Lim and the Kites led by Roy Molseed, each with 102 points. The winning teams are listed below.

Jeremy Chen and the food volunteers provided an excellent breakfast and lunch for all the players and Carol Tolen helped provide the cool medals for the winning teams. Thanks to everyone who helped with the food and the desk and the set up and cleanup. You made the first MVTC tournament of 2013 a great success, as you can see from the smiles of the people in the photos. Debbie Ryan, thanks for the photos.
