As an community organization sponsored by the city Mountain View, MVTC has decided to participate in this year's Mountain View City Spring Family Parade to be held on Sat April 25th. The parade will begin at noon on Castro Street at Villa Street and continue all the way into Pioneer Park for crafts, games, music and fun.

Being part of the parade is not only fun but also a great opportunity for us to promote our club. We'll show our community what a group of fun loving, creative, and happy people we are and it is all because of our love for tennis. This will also allow us to demonstrate to the city that as a club we are committed to support community activities to make the city a better place for all.

To be part of the parade, all you need to do is sign up (with me), and show up in your best looking championship match tennis outfit. Racket is not necessary but welcome. We'll walk as a team with the club banner and a few tennis themed props.

We welcome your ideas and suggestions on how to make this activity fun and what other things we can do to give back to the community. Please let us know whether you'll be walk in the parade by April 19th by sending an email to tournaments@mvtc.net
